Work from home: No office?

To work from home does not necessarily mean that you have to work without an office. You can of course convert a room in your house into an office. Some people find that they work better when they are in an office environment.



If they work from home from their kitchen table they become distracted easily and do not end up getting any work done. However if they have set up a home office which is used only for working from home, they find they are more focused when in that space. For this reason some people actually choose to set up their home office in the garage.



Because they are leaving the house they do not feel so much as though they are working from home and are therefore more motivated and focused than other people who work from home without a home office. Of course some people do not have a problem with motivation and find that they can work from home from their kitchen table or their couch or out in the backyard without becoming overly distracted.
